 Total Knee Replacement

On May 3rd I underwent a full knee replacement at the London Bridge Hospital under the care of mr Ian McDermott. I am now 5 months in recovery and during this time I have attended 13 Sessions of physiotherapy during which time they taught me various exercises to help the knee also massage to assist my tight it band. I can now report that I can say I have nearly full function of my knee I can walk 3 miles climb stairs and achieve almost everything I want to do also I am pain free. A pilates class has been helpful. I owe this to Mr McDermott and his staff at the hospital with the care I received and the after care and encouragement was exceptional.
